2016

Pascal Fendrich and Martin Plüddemann were invited by the Berlin Project Space Festival 2016 to realize a project as representatives of the Cologne art space Bruch & Dallas. The gallery located at Ebertplatz in Cologne has a very distinctive floor plan that echoes the nested, hexagonal urban structure of the entire square. The artists transferred the floor plan to scale to the open space next to the Neue Nationalgalerie between Potsdamer Strasse and the Matthäuskirche by removing the top layer of chippings. The layout of the Cologne exhibition space was reproduced through the subtle differences in color and surface structure and in this way carried to Berlin.
